100% Silk. Weight: 198 gsm. Width: around 110cm. This is a blend of Matka and Ketya Ahimsa/Peace Silks in their natural hue, handwoven together. It's medium-weight, soft, and perfect for clothing like dresses, shirts, as well as homeware like pillows or cushion covers. Ketya Peace Silk is a fabric native to the Indian state of west Bengal. Ketya is made from leftover fibres of hatched Tussar silkworm cocoons. These fibers are handspun into yarn for fabric.
